Allow Me To Introduce Myself...

So, what can I tell you about myself and my writing journey? Well, for one thing, it definitely wasn’t a straight line. Let’s jump back 25 or so years ago.

I was a teenager, an avid reader, movie buff, comic book enthusiast and videogamer. But one day I got the sudden urge to write after having a vivid nightmare about a doctor operating on me with strange supernatural eyes. When I awoke, I scribbled down some notes and put them away. But then I started scribbling more and found that I couldn’t shake the idea outta my head. So I booted up my ancient (Hand-me-down) ACER Desktop computer and started outlining.

The idea kept me so engaged, I was determined to write it and finishing it. Even with the computer freezing up on me, I let nothing get in my way. Mr. Dead Eyes, my weird, supernatural thriller was born. I would come back to it over the years and do a few more passes on it.

Eventually, after completing a full novel, I started tackling short stories, whatever delightfully crazy ideas I could think of. That became my first short story collection: For What It’s Worth.

My second novel idea was of a killer who possesses a leather jacket. That book was Reviled.

However, my third novel paved the way and completely revealed my writing voice. Particularly because I threw out the outline and just let the characters take over. That became Pickpocket Frankie.

Now the year is 2009, the Amazon Kindle has been released and with it, an entire generation of new writers could actually publish their stories independently for free. With nothing to lose, I started putting all my books up there.

To date I have 25 titles on Kindle, Kobo and Nook. And I’m very proud of them. I like to challenge myself as a write and always create something different and unique from the project I worked on before.

Cut to 2013, late December, I’m married and we have a newborn daughter. My full time job is not doing me any favors and I’m actually struggling to get by. Fortunately, Amazon has opened up a new branch of Audible called ACX (The Audiobook Creation Exchange), where authors and narrators can come together and publish indie audiobooks. I was sold, I took the plunge again. I had no audition samples so I decided to narrate my own thriller novella about a teenage girl trapped in a jungle and taken hostage by soldiers called Village Americana. I did ten auditions and heard back from five of them. Before I knew it, I was narrating whole series and standalones, sometimes recording 8 Audiobooks a month.

Now, in 2025, I have narrated/performed over 300+ Audiobooks. I not only got an education in acting out the characters of some of my favorite authors but I also found that I was honing my craft when it came to writing as well. I am a storyteller at heart and I love entertaining people and showing them a new story that they haven’t heard before.

That’s how I got started. But there is way more to come. Thank you for coming to my website. Be sure to check out my backlog of titles, subscribe to my mailing list, come back to comment or see updates of what I’m working on. There will also be surprise cover reveals.

I guess there’s just one thing left to ask you, the reader.
